When you have mastered spinning, knowing when you should or should not go for it, you will soon develop a full 360 spin, especially in modern boats. To develop to a 'clean spin' you are basically focusing on your body position, rotation and looking round the corner for the next spin. e.g. - when you slide down the wave and go for a spin to the left, you will look round your left shoulder, push on your left blade, force your hips round to catch up the head and shoulders. Then instead of pulling on the power face on the other blade, you reach around with your arms, shoulders and head, holding your blades nice and high out of the water. Your hips and boat will follow round and you will be back to front surfing on the wave
