Faster Fitness Session

A faster fitness session - Coordinator Eamon Hanlon
This is for those wishing to maintain and improve their fitness over the coming months.
You should be experienced enough to paddle with others doing a minimum of 6 lengths of the dock (approximately 8 miles) within the 2 hours. If this is your first session, please contact Eamon to discuss.
Booking ends 24hrs before the event...
Gates open at 6:15 for a prompt 6:30 pm start on the water.
Please ensure you have a head torch or similar light to make your craft visible.
Canoes and Kayaks along with Buoyancy Aids, Paddles and Spray Decks are available from the compound. Suitable clothing should be worn for the prevailing conditions. Water shoes or trainers should be worn on the feet, warm layers and windproof jacket should be worn on cold evenings. You will need to step into the water to launch and could possibly capsize and get wet so please be prepared.
You are welcome to use your own equipment provided it is suitable.
