Llangollen Sunday Morning Paddle by Paul Harwood Sunday morning was spent at Llangollen, as normal! Fun morning trying out Harvey’s new canoe, back in the small C1s and fab to get back out in the OC1s again. Level was a 4 on the Mile End Mill Gauge.

Liverpool Canoe Club Polo Team Congratulations on a successful year for LCC Polo Team. Here are a few photographs from their last training game of the year which took place on 31st December in the Duke’s Dock. Water temperature was 6 Celsius and air temperature was a balmy 12 Celsius. Today was yet again a great paddle at Leasowe . 3rd paddle of the of the year here at 10′ drive from home, I could get used to this! Thanks for the shout Karl Tattum. Here are a few snaps and a short video. It was windy and cold (well, not cold enough for the many swimmers!), but well worth it.

River Dee on high (Sunday 9th January) 8 of us turned up on the river today to paddle down from Horseshoe Weir to Town Falls. At 0.98 on the Corwen Gauge it was officially high but only just. River Banwy (Tuesday 28th December) We used open boats and put in at Llanerfyl just below the bridge. Make sure you park carefully here and do not park in any gateways as farm access is always needed and the farmer has been known to block in any cars poorly parked. There is only room for 3 cars.
