Freestyle & Playboating

Play Boating or White Water Rodeo / Freestyle – a radical form of canoeing developed from Slalom, where the competitor performs tricks and stunts, such as striking a suspended ball with the nose of the kayak, and receives points for style as well as times. This has now progressed to playing in a stopper or play wave and performing a variety of tricks. (backsurf, 360’s, stern squirts, Cartwheel or Enders, surfing holes, loops, mystery (underwater) moves, blunts, and spins, Wave wheels, Cartwheels, Kick Flips)
