Comfortable, stable and fun are three words that we think best describe the Feelfree Corona, it is a great family tandem sit-on-top with a higher carrying capacity than most other tandems. Its can be paddled easily by two people and even fit a third paddler in the centre seating position to enjoy the ride. The Corona is perfect for trips to the beach when the sun shines or touring around slow moving rivers and lakes. The Corona has enough storage space to be able to be used for whole day trips or storing ample fishing kit.
The Corona has a whopping 280kg weight capacity, allowing the whole family to paddle (or sit back and relax) whilst out on the water. The Corona can be paddled solo from the centre position, but turning a kayak of this size is much harder than shorter models.
The “wheel in the keel” transport system makes the Corona very easy to transport around on your own providing it’s on a firm surface. The wheel isn’t designed for use on rough ground or sand, you will have to carry the kayak or use a trolley instead. In order to prolong the life of the wheel’s axle you will need to occasionally wash off dirt and salt water.
With 4 carry hands the Feel Free Corona can be manoeuvred onto a car roof rack opening up the locations that this versatile family tandem kayak can be used.
Standard features of the Feel Free Corona include a stable contoured hull design, rear storage well with bungee’s, front gear bungee’s, moulded seating areas and footrests, 2x storage hatches, 4x moulded-in carry handles, 2x paddle parks, “wheel in the keel” plus multiple equipment attachment points.
The Corona is a bigger kayak and transport across sand and the like may require a trolley – best to use a C-Tug or cradle style trolley (not a Universal Sit On Top) trolley with Corona. The Corona doesn’t come with seat/backrests as standard. these are bought separately. Any combination of seats found on our Sit On Top Equipment page can easily be fitted, removed or swapped around as desired.
