Flat Water Canal Trip Lydiate to Maghull on Sunday 30^th April

Great paddle on the canal today – with inflatables and kayaks that fold to the size of a small suitcase.

Lydiate to Maghull return probably about 5km and a stop to drink tea.

Thanks for the company of Greg Steph plus dog Peppa, Andy, Rich and Tom.

Well done for not portaging and doing some back bends to navigate under the low bridges – while still in a kayak.

Hope to do these more often every few weeks if the weather is good – will be around north Liverpool and into Lancashire Haskayne way next.
