British University Kayaking Expedition

This weekend club member Reece Marsden will be taking part in a selection weekend along with 19 other candidates. The selection weekend takes part in Snowdonia.

The group was invited a couple of weeks ago to a weekend of trials and tests to pick the 5 most suitable candidates for the 2024 expedition. It’s a great opportunity and the weekend in itself will great regardless of how he gets on.

The 2022 expedition took part in Borneo. We were lucky to see a showing of the Borneo expedition film at the National Whitewater Centre Tryweryn. It was presented by members of the expedition.
Watching the film gave Reece the inspiration to apply.

We’re hopeful that Reece will get selected for the 2024 expedition.
