Moelfre to Bull Bay on the North Coast of Anglesey

In my quest to circumnavigate Anglesey in what appears to be multiple day trips in every direction possible, whilst nothing is simultaneously linked…I identified that although I had been from Bull Bay and Point Lynas south, I had never managed to link it up with Moelfre…well today was the day.

I found a fellow willing participant in Fiona G and we set off at local HW from Moelfre at around 1030. We were quickly upon Ynys Moelfre, a circumnavigation to see what wildlife we could identify before we set a direct course for Ynys Dulas.

3km was covered in under 25 min due to the ebbing tide and we managed to see the tower and at one point counted in excess of 20 seals in the water.

After a bit of cave exploration and Point Lynas passed we lunched in Porth Eilian before we dropped onto East Mouse for the hattrick of mini-islands and to homeward Bull Bay. An enjoyable 3 hours 20 in the water and the quest to randomly link up Island continues!

HW Liverpool 1109@ 8.14m

18km of paddling.
