River Dee -Farndon Bridge to Sandy Lane

I have spaces available for an all-day paddle on the River Dee from Farndon Bridge to Sandy Lane, Chester. First come first served.

Bookings end 24hrs before the event to allow time to coordinate.

If more leaders or coaches join, I will increase the numbers.

Meet up at 0930 at Farndon Bridge unload and then shuttle down to Sandy Lane and return to be on the water soonest. It was quite muddy the last time we were here but I’ll check it out beforehand, but the river levels had been very high in February!

The car park at Farndon is on the English side of the river, it’s a tight turn into it so take care.

Please ensure you have everything you need for a day on the water, including:
Suitable clothing, something to keep you dry and warm.  Please check the weather.
All your paddling and safety kit.
Lunch and a drink, hot & cold.
Change of clothing, just in case.
Anything else you think you may require?
This is approx 12 mile paddle so we will be on the water for most of the day. If the shuttle goes well we should be off the water by 1500 or 1600 at the latest.

We will be stopping for a lunch break during the trip so you will need a packed lunch and drinks.

This trip will be approximately 12 miles from Farndon to Sandy Lane so is open to anyone who can paddle that distance and is open to any craft.
