ICF Canoe Freestyle World Championships 2025

Harvey has won a Bronze medal at his first World Championships in Plattling, Germany.

He paddled a Junglist OC1 Freestyle canoe that he made himself from scratch, which became the working prototype.

The levels are really low, and the competition has been cancelled for C1 and OC1. So the last round standings count.

I am delighted for Harvey, who has been paddling with the club since he was 7 years old.

Harvey made it through to the final of the World championships in Plattling.

The water is crazy low, and at 630am this morning he put a big hole in his boat on a a big rock. Fortunately, he had a full fibreglass kit with him, and it is solid and ready to compete for a medal.

We think the final is on Friday, but everything is changing daily.
