The weather wasn’t as sunny as forecast but it was warm and very pleasant to paddle in. 

We had 16 paddlers in total in a mix of sea kayaks, ww boats, crossover boats and a SUP. We shared the beach area with SUP inflatables who were having a demo day with lots of Red co., Gladiator and Shark boards to try.

We did the usual tour of the docks at our usual leisurely pace enjoying chatting as we went along. These paddles are suitable for any member new or old. 

After the paddle we enjoyed coffee, tea and biscuits which has become kind of traditional now. 

Leisurely paddles seem to be very popular. Obviously, people take up paddling for lots of different reasons and these sessions offer an opportunity for people just to chill out and relax. There’s also the social aspect with lots of experienced members there from whom to glean great advice from.
