Camping at Tyn Rhos campsite, near Trearddur Bay. The campsite has a bar/pub on site and good showers/toilets.

We have reserved all 3 electric hookups on this field this year.  No daisy chaining/branching (only one cable to a tent or van). Email website@liverpoolcanoeclub.co.uk if you want to reserve one.
Elec 1 = Pete Massey
Elec 2 = Bob Giles
Elec 3 = Still available

We will be through the gate and on the left-hand side, behind the showers and toilet block, in prime position again in the backfield.

David and Alison are good friends with the club and run an organised site. Tyn Rhos Campsite…….

You should report to reception when you arrive (the campsite shop at the gate). You will be given a code for the electronic gate once you arrive. Please note that the shop closes at 10 pm so you must arrive before this. TEL: 01467 860369.
The Electric gate does not operate between 11 pm and 7:00 am

A55 Coast Road onto Anglesey (very strict speed limits with hidden vans in North Wales!). Near Holyhead at Junction 3, turn off towards the small village of Valley. At the set of traffic lights, turn left, over the railway line and follow the road to Trearddur Bay. Just before the beach car park is Ravenspoint Road, a road that follows the left (southern) half of the Bay. Take this and go past the Seacroft pub and hotel. Eventually, you will see signs for Tyn Rhos Campsite. Follow these signs THROUGH the static caravan park and past Bert’s Pub on the left. Please pay for your stay at the office on arrival.

Do not follow your SatNav in Trearddur Bay, as it will take you up a long but dead-end track! It is far better to set your SatNav for the Seacroft Hotel and keep going on Ravenspoint Road to the end. Seacroft Hotel, Ravenspoint Rd, Trearddur Bay, Holyhead LL65 2YU

Activities:
Surfing at Trearddur Bay, Porth Dafarch or Cable Bay.
Play wave / moving water at Stanley Embankment, Four Mile Bridge and the Swellies.
Sea Kayaking – local trips around the many bays and headlands.

Lots to do for all ages and abilities, and don’t forget the Saturday night traditional LCC BBQ!  A few of us bring BBQs and charcoal, and you bring food for yourself and cook it on the BBQ as and when there is space.  It is a fun way of cooking on Saturday night

I will be at the campsite at some time on Friday evening, probably leaving Liverpool at about 5 pm after work.

Arrive Friday evening – depart Sunday afternoon, campsite details below: (or any days in between)
