Progression to White Water River Trip (Grade 2-3 River)

Meet at the Docks to pick up boats/share transport or meet at the get-on ready to paddle (River Section and all details will be emailed to all participants and leaders 24 hours before the event).

(We do not charge for coaching or hire of boats (provided they are returned to the compound the same day) but there is a small booking fee of £5 to ensure that you are serious about attending)

Booking ends 48hrs before the event...

You will paddle in a group of up to 6 with a river leader and at least one assistant. More places will be released if more trip leaders and assistants come forward so please check back regularly. You will need to organise yourself with a suitable boat and equipment for moving water (You will need a spray deck and helmet for moving water) Boats can be loaned from the club with the equipment booking system).

Full details of groups/meeting places will be circulated to participants and leaders after Thursday. Ideal first trip on moving water but you should have at least 6 months of paddling experience on flat or sheltered water.

We also need additional group leaders (Must be proven 4* standard) and assistant leaders (Must be proven 3 * Standard) to be with a group of up to 4 improvers. Please reserve a place using the option to book a Leader and Assistants ticket.
