Sea Kayak Trip Inner Hebrides - Keith Steer 16 – 30 August 2025

A number of options this year:

Based from Leachive Caravan Park – Tayvallich in poor weather but with good conditions we are most likely to trolly kayaks onto the ferry at Kennacraig and paddle from Port Askaig (Islay) for a number of days (12 days)

16 – 30 August 2025 With probable travel up on Friday night after work.  Ferries on Saturday 16^th? and return on Saturday 30^th? or before as lots of foot passenger options.

The plan for this year is to explore the Southern Inner Hebrides by Sea Kayak.

You must be available for the full trip, potentially paddling for 12 days from your sea kayak camping on beaches without access to a vehicle.   The trip will be weather-dependent and will change in adverse weather as there are many more sheltered options.

The primary plan is Islay and Jura.(but as ever be prepared for suggestions of plan C,D, E and F)
