White Water Peer Paddle

“A non-club Trip (Peer trip) is one NOT organised by the club. Individuals will need to ensure they are competent and happy to paddle as a group. All decisions to paddle will be the FULL responsibility of those paddling. You will not be covered by any liability cover from the club nor the National Governing Body (BC or PUK).”

I am planning a white water peer paddle on the upper Tryweryn this Sunday.  This is based near Bala North Wales and is a commercial dam released section grade 3-4.  There are no test or entrance restrictions; however, paddlers should be suitably experienced and skilled.

You will need to have your own boat and equipment, as there will be no option to use club equipment.  Participants need to book on via the Tryweryn website when the release is announced, via the link:

Please let me know if you’re considering attending, so we can arrange to meet up and paddle together.

The cost for the day is £24; however, some discounts are available.  This includes a shuttle bus to carry your boat to the top of the course, toilets, showers, a shop and a cafe.
