GDPR and members’ contact details
Yesterday, Liverpool Canoe Club removed the ability for its members to look up other members’ email addresses and telephone numbers. We are also removing the telephone numbers and email addresses being displayed on the calendar page for club paddles, although they may still be collected when making a booking.

The best way to minimise the risk of unauthorized access in future would be to require Multi Factor Authentication for login or for password resets. Otherwise, if anyone’s email is hacked, having changed their LCC password won’t help as the hacker can reset it.
