Last Monday Night’s Stand Up Paddleboard session had perfect conditions.
There was a good turnout for the dock’s session on Monday night. Although slightly overcast, the air was still and water very calm. The group paddled up to the Museum and into Canning dock where we experimented with several SUP manoeuvres including step-back turns. Only two of us managed not to fall in.
The paddle back was idyllic with the lights of the Tate Gallery and other shops and the city centre. NB you are required to carry a white light while paddling in the dark to shine should another vessel approach. (Make sure they are tied to your BA or similar)
