2025 04 22 Anglesey Sea Kayak Day 4
A fine crew of paddlers—Andrew B, Martin P, Kevin C, Andrew B, Christine B, Ian B, and Keith S set off from Cemlyn Bay for a classic north Anglesey paddle to Bull Bay.
With both wind and tide on our side, conditions made for a relaxed and enjoyable journey along this dramatic stretch of coastline. The disused Wylfa Nuclear Power Station loomed silently as we passed, its ghostly silhouette a stark contrast to the wild beauty around us.
We explored a few sea caves en route, always a highlight, with the sea gently echoing inside and light catching the rock formations in beautiful ways.

Lunch was at the old brickworks, a familiar and welcome stop. Right on cue, the sun broke through, giving us a warm and pleasant break as we stretched out and soaked up the views. Martin even said “it was now almost enjoyable” 🙂 The weather must have been excellent to bring out this remark!
Looks lovely. Why wasn’t I there????
Something to aspire to. Thanks for posting.
