The trip to Scotland over the Easter holidays had finally arrived.
Group members travelled from various parts of the country to attend.
We all met at the agreed car park at the get in for the river Leny.

I had scouted the main section and talked to people who had just paddled it, whilst I was driving to the get-in.
Once we had launched, we paddled to the start of the river and started to negotiate the very low water and obstacles.

We broke out on the river right bank jsut before the main falls of Leny.
We decided to portage as it was too low for the group to negotiate safely.
Putting back on after the falls, we continued the trip, ending at a lovely stone bridge near a handy car park.
After changing, we headed further north for 2 1/2 hours to Roy Bridge.
It was a long day, but we recovered once we had the tents up, with some food at a local pub.
