Pembroke Day 5 Wednesday St Brides Bay by Ella B

On the final day of the Pembrokeshire weekend extension, only 6 paddlers remained. We packed up our tents early with the weather promising to be the best of the entire trip. We put in at St Brides Bay after a steep but short carry and paddled out and around the stack rocks to admire the seals and sea birds.

Then we paddled across to Little Haven beach for lunch before paddling back around the cliff edge. Ian rescued a sunhat floating in the water en route, which turned out to be mine, which I had lost several hours earlier! After a 10-mile paddle, we were off the water by 2 pm and ready for the long drive home, already thinking about our next kayaking trips!
