2025 05 16 Anglesey 1 Porth y Post

We paddled back to our cars at the former ATS garage and loaded up the boats to head for a quick splash at Porth Dafarch. The beach was full of cars from the various paddlers and groups, so we drove on along to the small beach at Porth y Post. There was a small trailer here, and still plenty of parking for our two cars.

Keeping very close to the cliffs for extra fun

We slid into the waves on the beach and paddled around the corner, keeping very close to the cliffs for extra fun. We passed a few happy fisherfolk and then passed a coasteering group busy jumping off the rocks. We played in the small caves and rock inlets before surfing tiny waves on the sandy beach at Porth Dafarch.

We explored the swimming area of the new modern house for sale on the cliffs above

On the return journey, we met several sea kayaking groups, including our larger group that had been all the way to the White Arch. We explored the swimming area of the new modern house for sale on the cliffs above and then jumped back in our cars and headed back for hot showers and to catch up with the others.
