What a great night to be on the water.  After the initial struggle over what to wear, it was decided that, with expected rain, a cag would be a good idea, but with 17 degrees in the air, we didn’t want to be too warm.  5 kayaks took to the gently rippling water last night as we wondered where the other 4 cygnets were.  We’re sure there were 7 a couple of weeks ago.

There wasn’t an agenda for the night but to enjoy being out and feel the breeze.  Anything else was a bonus.  And what a bonus it was.  The company was terrific, the rain held off, we didn’t have any unexpected events… ooh, apart from the splash at the end from someone who managed to fall in while getting out of their boat from the pontoon.  I can’t say who, but they’re okay. We’re already booked on for next week, are you?
