Long-time member of the Club, John Pegram sadly passed away today at Aintree Hospital
The club is saddened to pass on the news that John Pegram died peacefully this afternoon at Aintree Hospital. He had Covid-19 and had been battling with advanced cancer for several years. We understand that Judith was able to be there at his side.
John joined the club in March 2010 and took part in all disciplines. He paddled in the French Alps, Scotland, Wales and England. John obtained his Level 1 Coach Award in 2012 and helped introduce many new members to the sport, including his son Matthew. He loved camping and joined us on many of the Anglesey and Pembrokeshire weekends. More recently John has been an active member of the Stewardship Group and has also taken many fabulous photographs and videos of members paddling all over the country with the club.
John was an inspiration to all and will be dearly missed by all his friends in the club.
