River Dee on high (Sunday 9th January)

8 of us turned up on the river today to paddle down from Horseshoe Weir to Town Falls. At 0.98 on the Corwen Gauge it was officially high but only just. At this level many of the features were “fast and bouncy” but still very enjoyable. We enjoyed watch Harvey hop out after every rapid to tip the water out of his new Apache Canoe.

Good to see a lot of other paddlers on the river as well today.
