Club Paddlefest Sunday 27th April 2025
We had lots of club members out on the water today. A massive thank you to all the volunteers who helped run the sessions, sorted equipment and made the day go so smoothly.
The skills sessions were full with lots of people perfecting skills in Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP), Open Canoes and Sea Kayaks.
Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) had two sessions run by Adya and Matt.
After the two sets of skills sessions and a try any boat session, we all put on race bibs and selected our racing craft. We all then headed for the start line, but the Dragon Boaters were using the same bridge but racing in the opposite direction.

Absolutely amazing day, I am so grateful for the opportunity to participate and improve my paddle skills and specially to see so many happy people enjoying the event. Also I’m impressed about how much effort passion and dedication Keith put in for this event and how well the leaders comunicate and make sure everyone is safe and happy to paddle and have a lot of fun. Thank you Liverpool caiac club and thank you everyone who organised this event so well.
Thank you all for welcoming us today, I have been out of my boat for a few years and it was my daughter’s first time kayaking today and we both had a lot of fun.
