Very sadly, club member Maggi Toft died yesterday after a battle with cancer. Maggi and her son Miguel were regulars at the Junior club for a few years. Maggi and Miguel started at the club together and enjoyed kayaking as a shared pastime, but like many parents who start with Junior club, Maggi soon became a regular at docks sessions, paddling for herself and joining in club activities and Anglesey weekends. It was clear Maggi loved being on the water, and she always had a smile on her face when paddling.

Our deepest sympathies are with Miguel and all of Maggi’s family at this terribly sad time.
