Docks Paddle – Sunday 18th February by John Fay

Still in February and we had 20 members out on Sundays Dock paddle.

There was a mixture of craft from Sea kayaks, crossovers, whitewater Kayaks and also four SUPs out.

Like the old Sunday paddles the group stayed together and enjoyed chatting with other members and enjoying flapjacks provided by Colin and Sue Lowndes.

Some had instruction on rolling from John Allerton whilst others tried some SUP skills watched over by Adya Misra. Some like Karl Tattum and John Fay just fell in whilst trying tricks.

All in all we had a good fun session and we’re writing this report to encourage anyone wanting to come down to the docks to do so.
