Beginners and Improvers Session - Kevin Corcoran

I am offering 8 places for this beginners and improvers session. HEAD TORCHES ARE MANDATORY FOR THIS SESSION.  I want all participants to be seen by other water users.

This session is to help you achieve your aspirations as a kayaker. If you want to get off the docks and go on journeys, with the confidence and skills to enjoy your trip, join us.

We will cover, effective forward paddling, dealing with winds. Steering your kayak efficiently and general boat craft to boost your confidence on the water.  This session will be suitable for anybody starting out on their paddling 'career', anybody just starting back up, after a winter off the water. You do not need to have done a wet exit (Capsize), as we will cover this in the weeks ahead when the water is warmer.

Club equipment is available and the barrier will be opened for car parking. If we haven't paddled together before, please give me a brief resume of your current skills and abilities.

I WOULD APPRECIATE SUPPORT FROM ANY OTHER CLUB LEADER. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A SMALL TEAM  WORKING TO KEEP THESE SESSIONS AS A REGULAR FEATURE.

Club equipment is available and the compound will be opened at approx 6.00 pm and closed at 6.15 pm.
