A big thank you to all that attended and made this event possible, especially our friends at Dee sailing Club who have fabulous facilities and are the friendliest hosts of the event each year.
We had 24 club volunteers, helpers and safety kayaks out and about on the day and without whom, the event would simply not be possible. Gary Edwards was my hero of the day spending nearly 6 hours manning the road closure on his first ever stint helping the club. I truly hope we have not put him off and his contribution allowed others to do other admin in the background. Alex and Aaron, fortunately, were able to crew a second, Dee Sailing club RIB as our one was stuck on the motorway with a broken trailer axle. Many thanks again to Dee Sailing Club for offering this on the day.
A full set of results are available from the club website – Please click here… or see the links below.
Next year, please think about entering as a group of 3, to paddle around as a team for support.
