I have attached the results for people to have a read. We will be looking at running another one in March… Read More »LCC Canoe Polo Tournament at Halewood Leisure Centre

Opens in the Garden of Eden by Mike and Ruth Alter

May be an image of 2 people, body of water and nature

In what is a fast becoming a staple Christmas time paddle, several open boaters and two safety kayakers headed up to paddle the lovely river Eden. When I first started to paddle, the agreement for paddling the Eden was a bit of a faff. Thankfully things… Read More »Opens in the Garden of Eden by Mike and Ruth Alter

Scottish COVID… Read More »A Drop of Whitewater, Kayaking the Royal Dee by Dave and Fiona Gentle

Today was yet again a great paddle at Leasowe . 3rd paddle of the of the year here at 10′ drive from home, I could get used to this! Thanks for the shout Karl Tattum. Here are a few snaps and a short video. It was windy and cold (well, not cold enough for the many swimmers!), but well worth it.

River Dee on high (Sunday 9th January) 8 of us turned up on the river today to paddle down from Horseshoe Weir to Town Falls. At 0.98 on the Corwen Gauge it was officially high but only just. At this level many of the features were “fast and bouncy” but still very enjoyable. We enjoyed watch Harvey hop out after every rapid to tip the water out of his new… Read More »River Dee on high (Sunday 9th January)
