Maintenance Day at the Compound, Sunday 20th Sept 2026

We finally finished the painting and restoring the last 4 panels of the compound today. Under Dom’s guidance, numerous working parties have totally painted all the panels with Hammerite paint to protect them from the salt air and rain.

We also replaced all the windproof netting behind the paddle rack in the hope that the strong winter winds will be deterred from blowing them all on the floor.

After 9 years, this was needed to keep the compound in good condition. We really need someone within the club who can check and replace any solar lights or wiring in the compound.
