Just a reminder the annual Hilbre Island Sea Kayaking event run by Liverpool Canoe Club in partnership with Dee Sailing Club is at 2:00pm on Sunday 17th July 2022
This is a whole club event – All other paddles have been taken off the calendar on the 17th to allow all to take part/help or come along to watch.
Juniors are welcome to take part in the short event, Sea Kayakers can form a team of three to paddle together for support on the main Hilbre Race. BBQ and bar at Dee clubhouse during the event.
The compound will be open on the day for collection and return of club boats to use – there is no charge as it is a same-day event (if you want to reserve a particular boat you will need to book and pay the loan fee). We have safety paddlers both following and around the course so we really want all from the club to take part. If you want to paddle to Little Eye island and back please do not hesitate to get involved. It is a fun event for all standards of paddler.
